The VGF is a nonprofit corporation that was established with the purpose of making a significant impact within the Hampton Roads community. Since its founding in 2007, the organization has managed multiple local fundraising initiatives in support of ALS research and awareness, a pediatric intensive care unit at the Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters and the Grommet Island Park adjacent to Rudee Loop.
